Why trust Jackdaw
Who you are dealing with, and how we get paid.
You are about to send your business’s details to firms you have never heard of. Here is how we check providers, where our money comes from, and what we are and are not responsible for.
01 · providers
What “verified” means
Every provider is checked before they can see your brief.
Checked
We check each provider’s business email and its company records.
Vetted by our team
Every provider is vetted by our team before they can see a brief or send a proposal.
02 · money
How we make money
Providers pay us for each brief they buy. You won’t pay anything.
What you’ll pay
Nothing. Sending a brief, getting proposals back and comparing them will cost your business nothing.
What providers pay
A fee for each brief they choose to buy. The fee depends on the size of the requirement, and they pay it whether or not they win your business.
No commission
We are not paid for any recommendation, and we take nothing from the contract you sign. We earn the same whichever provider you choose.
Your details
Providers who buy your brief will see what you need, not who you are. Your company name and contact details go to one provider only: the one whose proposal you accept.
03 · our role
Our role
Jackdaw is a marketplace, not a mobile network.
When you accept a proposal, your contract is with that provider, on their terms.
We do not hold money for you or for the provider. You’ll pay the provider directly, under your contract with them.
If something goes wrong with a provider you found here, tell us.
