Finalising your requirement

This page is your requirement as providers will see it, one step before you publish. It is marked Draft until you do.

What happens while you check it

Two things run in the background when you arrive:

  1. Looking up your organisation. Jackdaw reads your company's website to describe what you do, your industry, size and location. The steps show in the Your organisation section, with roughly how long is left.
  2. Writing suggested questions. Once your organisation is in, Jackdaw suggests questions for providers and checks your bundles and add-ons. The steps show in Questions for providers.

You can check everything else, and add your own questions, while they run.

If the lookup stops, or can't start, choose Try again, or Fill it in yourself and enter a few details. Saving them starts the suggested questions.

Your bundles

Each bundle is listed by how many lines it has and what they are. Select one to see its colour, storage, plan, term and add-ons.

A bundle with something worth checking is marked, for example 2 suggestions. Each suggestion says why, and either names a change you can make in one click (such as Add Device Protection) or offers only Dismiss. Once you decide, the suggestion becomes a short line with Undo.

To change a bundle, choose Edit basket.

Questions for providers

Every question has a tick box. Ticked questions are sent to providers; unticked ones are not.

  • Suggested questions start ticked if they are recommended. Choose Why to see the reason.
  • Your own questions are added in the last row, and arrive ticked. You can Edit or Remove them.

If the suggestions can't be written, you are told how many tries are left. You can still publish with your own questions.

Suggested add-ons

Changes to your account's add-ons work the same way as bundle suggestions: make the named change, or dismiss it, and undo either.

Details

Your response window, priorities, account add-ons and notes. To change them, choose Edit.

Publishing

Publish sits beside the requirement's name. If it can't be pressed yet, the reason is shown next to it, for example Waiting for your organisation · about 50 s or Needs your organisation.

Once you publish:

  • Your requirement is visible to matched providers in the Lead Marketplace
  • Providers can buy it as a lead and send proposals
  • You are notified each time a proposal arrives

See Setting your priorities to change your deadline or priorities.
